Loom is a place to share honest opinions about beauty products and discover what your friends love. To keep it welcoming, everyone agrees to these guidelines. Loom has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Content or behavior that breaks these rules may be removed, and repeat or serious violations lead to account suspension or removal.

Do

  • Share genuine, first-hand opinions about products.
  • Be respectful, even when you disagree.
  • Report content or people that break these rules: use Report on a post, a profile, or a feedback board post.
  • Block anyone you’d rather not interact with.

Don’t

  • Harassment or abuse. No bullying, threats, hate speech, or targeting people based on identity.
  • Objectionable content. No sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise offensive material.
  • Spam or scams. No fake reviews, misuse, spam, or deceptive promotion.
  • Misusing the feedback board. Posts there are public and anonymous, which is not the same as unmoderated: the rules above apply to them exactly as they do anywhere else in Loom.
  • Illegal content. Nothing unlawful, and nothing that infringes others’ rights.
  • Impersonation. Don’t pretend to be someone you’re not.

Reporting and Enforcement

Every rating, review, comment, profile, and feedback board post can be reported from within the app, and you can block other users at any time. We review reports and aim to act on objectionable content within 24 hours, which may include removing content and suspending or terminating accounts.
